My Accord (2009 CRX 4 cycl) sounds better, runs snappier and gets improved mileage. But I would prefer a better (more stable) multi-point (instead of single point) mounting bracket/system.

I installed it on a 2008 Accord Sedan. The sound my car makes at 3 grand and above is intoxicating. Pretty straight forward directions except the one bolt that is at the base of the air box in between the battery. Took me about 45 minutes to install. I think 30 minutes trying to get that buried bolt out. There is only enough room to turn your wrench about a quarter turn. Be careful when tightening the isolation mount, mine broke. Contacted aFe and they are sending me a new mount.

First of all let me comment on the installation: Using my normal at best skills, this installation took about 30 minutes. The instructions are easy to follow. You will ask yourself if you should be taking all of this crap off the car but keep moving. Its not as bad as it looks. The entire air box comes out. The instructions doesnt state this clearly enough to make you feel better.
Now for the after install part: The sound this car makes at full throttle is unreal. It brings my sleepy old Accord to life at 7500rpm. The noise is only louder at full or 3/4 pedal. Under normal driving conditions there is little change to the sound from the engine. The car feels stronger but I have no way to measure the true differences. I would keep your old stock parts in the box so you can throw them back together incase you need warranty work.
I would buy this again without a doubt.
