I agree with Trixie - this is a horrible bread maker.

I cannot find any settings that do not result in burned bread and its lid is permanently attached to the bread maker so if you get bread stuck (and burned) on the inside of the lid then it is impossible to clean properly.

This is the B2250 machine, but its big brother, the B2300 Horizontal bread maker, has the same problems. I have tried both and they now both reside in my basement.

If you've read many breadmaker reviews like I have you'll notice many very negative reviews and many very positive reviews for the same machines. You'll also notice a tendancy for newbs to have great success and experienced users to fail dramatically. I don't understand why; though I suspect a conspiracy ;)

I am a newb bread maker, and I didn't read the other reviews on this product when I bought it on sale at ... a retail outlet for under $50. The price was great and it was the only one in the store. I knew I could return it if I wasn't happy. I wanted one as I want a better diet. I can't find any good tasting breads in stores that are also good for my blood sugars (diabetic eh). There may not be one anywhere as I now find out that all recipes have some white flour or equivalant to make them fluff up and stick together, but that's another tale.

This machine has made two loaves for me without a flaw. I made the plain white sandwich bread on medium nad a Robin Hood Oatmeal Raisin bread on light. Both were fantastic! I've written enough, so I'll point form the positives and negatives I found:

Positive:
+ does not burn. Bread was perfect.
+ shakes but moved only 1/4 of an inch on the #5 (3:40) setting, less on the sandwich (1:55) setting.
+ does not stick. Nope, it's very slippery. If you can't clean this, you should not be allowed in a kitchen.
+ LCD very visible
+ beeps loudly
+ very sturdy paddle. No issues.

Negatives:
- thin recipe book/manual. I'm skeptical of a currant bread with no currants.
- buttons very hard to read
- buttons backward from manual descriptions (pfft!)
- cover does not come off. My 2nd loaf did stick to it a bit, and cleaning was not difficult, but if a disaster happens, cleaning could be tough.
- it's a vertical bin, but that's what you pay for.

So far I'm very happy.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Its secure, easy to use, and really convenient. The only thing that might be considered a draw back is the way it stick out the side and takes up space. But you need a built in scanner to get any better. There was a small hiccup when I was installing the software and there was no way to get some good customer support. Like I said tho, it was all worth it. I love this product :)

I bought this for my wife as an alternative to keeping a password booklet. The drive works with most sites, though if you are not somewhat tech savvy and familiar with some of the techniques of web development, it may be confusing. The chip uses the ID tag of input forms on the login page. These are often named with cryptic naming (developers use these values, so they are not always user friendly) so this could confuse some users who are not confident in their knowledge of website layouts.

One example is AT&T's login homepage where it presents a dropdown for both Cell & Land Line logins.. this is a trouble spot since we own both a residential and cell service. My wife was a bit stumped by this one as it had four form options as opposed to to the normal username/password options and none were named to indicate their function.

Most sites work without any issues, and overall it is much safter than keeping a password journal. If you are not confident in your ability to understand form data, then you may have some issues on various sites as you will be asked to submit password/user data using the raw form ID's.

After I had owned this item for a few days a pop-up informed me that there was an update available. I downloaded and installed it and found that the "Up-Date" was a crippled version of their program available for purchase. None of the features I needed, and which I had been able to use in the version that came with the scanner, worked. This "Up-Date" was just a gambit to get me to buy the paid version despite the fact that I had just paid $45 for the scanner and the software.

My 11 inch MacBook Air fits perfectly in the laptop compartment, and the padding seems adequate. Other reviewers complained about the top curling up when the bag is closed but I haven't had that happen. I normally carry my Kindle, iPod cable, Kindle cable, portable hard drive, charger for the MacBook and a ZaggSpark USB charger. It can fit all of that with a little extra room, I also have the vertical 11 inch bag for my iPad (doesn't fit the Air) and that's a great product as well.

My hair has been long for most of my life. Since my hair is naturally wavy and I don't care for the look, I have used a straightener for the last twelve years. As I've gotten older (40+yr.), I've gotten my hair professionally colored and/or highlighted. My hair is pretty overworked and dry.
Sebastian Drench shampoo/conditioner is the best products on the market. It has a nice smell, but most importantly, controls the dryness and frizz and leaves my hair soft. The cost of the Drench products is reasonable and worth every penny.

after using this set for about a month, i can tell that my hair has had a noticeable change. after showering, it becomes extremely soft and it stays quite soft for the rest of the day/night (depending on when i shower). the product also has a very mild, yet pleasant, fragrance. my hair has also become a lot more manageable and i have been able to style it with much more ease.
if the price of this kind of drives you away, note that these are rather large bottles and will last for quite a long time.
the only thing i don't like is that the conditioner isn't really liquidy so it can be a little more difficult to get out of the bottle than the shampoo. i'm not too sure how i'll squeeze it out when there is only a little left... not a big deal though. great product!

The first time I have ordered a costume online, and I was very happy with how quickly it was shipped and delivered. It is exactly what I wanted.

Its a halloween costume so it is a thinner material but thats what you get. Its not to thin so you can see through it and its not uncomfortable. The mask is scary and fits adults just fine. The hat stays up pretty well as long as you keep the stuffing in it. The stuffing is loose and you just have to push it back up in before putting it on your head. The shirt is larger than expected but the pants are the right size for what was ordered so if your not going to wear the pants I recomend ordering it a size smaller I ordered small and the shirt looks to be a large. But all together I liked it and was happy with it. =]

Nice concept, but this thing is really not worth the hype. Biggest problem with it is that I have still not figured out how to get the pants to fit. They have these weird elastic things at the top, but they are not pull strings and there is nothing to connect them to the shirt. This means that the pants just fall off me, which makes the whole costume pointless.

It is impossible to store this costume because the jester hat and the neck dressing have little skulls hanging off them that constantly fall off.

Also, the mask isn't what its made out to be. It is basically unwearable because there is no mouth opening, so you will end up just "misting" up the interior with you breath ;-P

I would not suggest this costume to anybody. It is just far to uncomfortable, and basically unwearable.

Great drive, so far. This drive replaces the six-month-old failed WD 1 TB Caviar Black the I installed in a new computer that I built six months ago. This new one was manufactured in Thailand; the first was made in Malaysia. It was the first HD I've had fail in my 25 years as a PC owner. Very disappointing, but I've been most impressed with the performance of Western Digital hard drives, as compared to Seagate and Maxtor, and I'm hoping that this one will be as durable as its predecessors. It comes with a 5-year warranty, as did the first, and WD is good about honoring the warranty on their products. Just remember to register it with WD immediately upon installation.

The seller also favorably impressed me. While communication wasn't the best, delivery of the drive was lightning fast, and the the product was well-packaged. I certainly recommend them to do business with. The price, while almost double what I paid for the original, was far better than I could find anywhere else due to the recent flooding in Thailand.

I would like to apologize as I am aware that this review is being read for the purpose of product rating, not Amazon and J&R service ratings...

I purchased this product last Friday, as it was a great price, considering prices are going up due to flooding in Asia. Initially I noticed the low price, then I noticed this was being sold through Amazon by J & R, quantity in stock, three. Fast forward to this morning, I get a call from J&R stating this product is not in stock and has been in fact discontinued. The J&R Customer Service Representative was very nice to talk with, but could offer no replacement or something comparable. I then mentioned, Amazon still shows J&R as having two in stock, obviously one less due to my purchase. He checked several times and said, well that is really Amazons issue and mentioned I may/should contact Amazon in hopes they might be able to do something for me.

I call Amazon and the only way Amazon will do anything for me is if I sign up as a Prime member to the cost of an additional $79.00. No price match, no we will look into the discrepancy, no comparable or help... Just, sign up for Prime and we will match the price. I understand the benefits of having Prime, but the point is to try and save the money now, I do not want to spend the additional $78 for the purchase.

5 stars to Amazon in the past for always having excellent customer service and knowing how to take care their customers. 1 star today for answering the phone and the unwillingness to help.
Unknown stars to J&R as I don't know if the quantity issue was your fault or Amazon.

As of posting this, the price error is still there, the quantity still there, when the link is clicked, it sends you to Amazon as the source at the increased price.

Western Digital WD1002FAEX Review by Mallok

With hard drives, time is the real test. I don't care about noise, but I haven't heard this one make any noise when copying to it. I only mention that because the boot drive in the same computer is very loud. Hard drive prices are at a high at the time of writing, this was the best price/size.

What can I say, either a hard drive works or it doesn't. I had no problems formatting or partitioning the drive and it worked perfectly. No complaints.


Seagate ST3750525AS Review by 1970 Mach 1 (Potomac, MD)

I was a Seagate fan since the 80's when I forst start using microcomputers, I always loved their drives.
This year's experience changed all that.

I own a Dell XPS Desktop (i7 975 @ 3.33 GHz, 12 GB RAM, and ATI Radeon HD 5800) which I paid top dollars for. The computer was configured in RAID 1 - mirror drives, so that I can use it without worrying about total disability in case of drive failures.

One of the drive went bad over the summer, so I bought a pair of Western Digital 1 TB Black and replaced the bad one. The RAID 1 did its job by allowing my system continue to function before I change the bad one, however, after I replaced the bad drive, the system did not return to RAID 1, the system became a RAID 0 configuration. Last week, the system crashed and could not be rebooted (MBR Corrupted). But i kept two copies of disc images after the system became RAID 0, so I restore from the image, did not work, still have the same problem. I then reformatted the drive and restore again, same problem. Each restore took over 24 hours, and I was not a happy camper.

At this point, the issue was clear, the Seagate drive was bad. I replaced the remaining Seagate with the spare Western Digital, went through the same process, the system finally return to working form. Really, the Seagate drives were no more than 3 years. They both crapt out and caused me hours of work to retore the system. Is it my bad luck, or shame on Seagate by selling such a drive?

I think this product is ok, but overpriced and there is more of the bottle than there is of the moisturizer. Peter Thomas Roth should start lowering his prices for his products. I can buy more products cheaper than his from Kohls that also do wonders for my skin and they at least, allow the consumer to use their discounts on every item including perfumes and make up.....

I've tried quite a few anti-aging moisturizing creams but none have shown significant improvement such as this product. PTR has a thick creamy consistency. It goes on smoothly with no fragrance and absorbs fast. I could see a big difference in a few hours - face skin more smooth and silky, pores reduced somewhat and just overall improvement in skin tone and color. I had some discoloration from previous dry patches and within a couple of days using PTR, the patchiness in color was totally smoothed out. I originally purchased this at full price (ouch!) and was happy to see it on Amazon at the reduced price. My face is loving this new cream! I'll update later on if my opinion changes. I also ordered the PTR peel pads and hope they live up to the very positive reviews.

I'm 58 years old. I alternate the use of this cream every other night with the mega rich anti-aging cellular cream (also by Peter Thomas Roth). This cream is unscented, not too thick (it has some consistency to it though) and it doesn't get sticky on your face. Once applied your skin drinks it up quickly and gets shiny. It does tons of good to my skin. My complexion is more supple, soft, luminous and firm. The expression lines have been dramatically smoothed out. No allergies or breakouts (I'm very prone to it). Recomended.
